Vacation in Kissimmee

My first visit to Florida ever was when I was seven.  We stayed in Kissimmee.  My mom had rented a car for the week and we stayed at a hotel in Kissimmee.  We were so close to Disney World and only about an hour from the beach.  Our hotel also had a pool that we hung out at.  It is the perfect place to stay because you are not tied down to just seeing Disney World.  You have the freedom to do so many other things.  And of course I couldn’t appreciate it when I was so young, but now Kissimmee is probably where I would stay if I traveled to Florida again.

Not only is Disney World right next door but there are so many other fun activities that Kissimmee has to offer.  I would love to go zip lining, go for a ride on an airboat, horseback riding, and even a hot air balloon ride!  Those are all things you can do in Kissimmee.  A great family stop is Old Town, a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex that the whole family can enjoy.
