Until last year. Last year i gained 12lbs. Which may not seem like a big deal to some, but…I’ve never gained weight before or ever had to worry about it. I only gained 20lbs when I was pregnant with Hunter and he came out a 7lb 6oz baby, and a week later the baby weight was gone. So for me this is a big deal and I know that 12 lbs isn’t all that much except I couldn’t fit into my jeans anymore. That’s depressing. Through dieting I was able to lose the excess weight that I had gained.
So anyways I have finally joined a gym. I want to keep the weight off and get fit and stay fit. I actually live directly across the street from Planet Fitness, so I finally joined. I’m excited to go and get fit and toned. I want really toned arms and legs man. But I am super nervous. I have no idea what to expect. I have all these questions and thoughts going through my head. Like, what do i with my keys? What about my cell phone? And I know they are going to give me a tour and hopefully show me how to use the machines but still. And God, i hope no one watches me work out because I really will have no clue as to what the hell i am doing.
So I’m gonna brave it out and go tomorrow morning. Maybe. At least that’s what the plan is. I’ll let you know how it goes. Maybe.

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

I would love to be a fly on the wall when your gym-cherry get’s popped!
Oh hunny, gym’s are meat markets. Why do you think most of them either have giant open windows to the street or mirrors everywhere?
Good luck.
Bring Mace.
You’re smart that you’re doing it now.
I was like you when I was young. In my late 20s my body changed. But, I stayed on the couch eating whatever I wanted. 12 pounds a year can turn a petite person into an obese person pretty fast.
It’s easier and healthier to nip it in the bud, get rid of those 12 pounds, keep em off and you’ll live a fit, healthy life forever.
Lol…you know what…Neither have I! I am 32, and this year I put on 20lbs of sympathy weight when my wife was pregnant! Now..i have to try and lose it! You look amazing…12lbs…sheesh!

Can you be any cuter? “What do you do with your keys” LOL OMG I want to SQUISH you right now!
I agree with Shan. Be careful! Check out the gym reviews on YELP!
Good luck! I’ve never joined a gym either…they”re expensive. I need/want to lose about 20. We’ll see.
being ‘fluffy’ I’ve spent much time in gyms…not that you could tell now. I’m still strong though. It does become addictive once you’re over that OMG I’m gonna DIE phase
When I was younger I never exercised or did any kind of dieting. Alas, then I had 2 kids and got married and my metabolism changed. Now I’m a fat cow, but have a great personality and can still kick ass so I’m happy.
You, girlfriend are one HOT mama. Screw the workouts!

I used to be SO good about going to the gym. 5 or 6 days a week. Now I strive for once a month. Ha! Which reminds me, my membership expires next week. Guess how many times I went in the past year? If you guessed 3, you’d be right.
OMG that’s awesome you joined the gym! Before I had my daughter I literally went 6x a week — it was an addiction. I LOVED the gym and as sick as this sounds — its fun. I bet you’re gonna love it too! Good luck!
P.S.
They have lockers for your personal stuff or depending on the machine sometimes there’s a place to toss the keys / phone in. Or you can always place it right by your machine.
