Men of a Certain Age

TNT’s newest original series Men of a Certain Age, starts tonight starring Ray Romano, Scott Bakula, and Andre Braugher.  The show follows the three, 40-something, friends as they go through the changes and challenges in their mid-life.

Ray Romano plays Joe, who is a separated father of two, who had dreams of being a professional golfer but now owns a party store.  He seems to be the funny one of the group.

Scott Bakula plays Terry, is a laid back perpetual bachelor.

Andre Braugher plays Owen, is a married father of 3.  He struggles with his overbearing and demanding father, whom he can not seem to please.

This show seems to be appealing to both men and women.  I found myself able to relate to a certain extent even at my age.  Basically, you never think you’re life is gonna turn out exactly the way it does.  It’s also a great show about friendship and how these men are there for each other through everything.  Its not a comedy, all though it has its funny moments, but to me it seems like its more real life based.  Which is probably so that men and women can both relate.

I think TNT has done it again with creating another hit tv series.  This is another one I am eager to watch.
