Our Nations Capital

Yup, that’s where i’ll be a week from tomorrow. For the very first time ever i am going on a trip to Washington, D.C. Our flight leaves thursday afternoon and we will be getting back sunday evening. Who is this we that i am referring too?? Miss Blondie and Hunter??

Miss Blondie and her new guy. Yes, remember the dates i went on a few weeks back?? Well things have been going great since then and he is taking me on this trip. He sort of planned it as a surprise for Valentines day weekend. He wanted to make it special. (Insert)-awwws. Sweet isn’t it? Now, why D.C. you might ask. Well, i have never been and i have been dying too. I just want to see all the sites…i’m kinda a touristy geek. I want to take lots and lots of pictures and see as much as i can. Hunter is not going with us….hey, its Valentines day weekend…kids kinda ruin the romance a bit, kwim? But actually, this will be the longest i’ve ever been out of the state without Hunter. Hope i do okay.

I’m very excited for this trip. This relationship is starting to look promising (fingers crossed). Last week during one of the snowstorms, he came over in the morning before i left for work, cleaned my car off and brought me Dunkin Donuts! I realize this is still in the “honeymoon” stage but lets give him some credit for it. I still haven’t come up with a “clever” name to refer to him as on my site…but i’m hoping my brain will get creative soon.
